Children's Museum of Alamance
The Children's Museum of Alamance County will encourage children to exercise their curiosity, develop their imagination, and discover their world through exploration. Our Vision is to provide environments where children and adults are given a unique opportunity to play and create together; promote learning and literacy through a wide array of multi-sensory, interactive hands-on experiences; and instill in children a greater understanding of themselves and their world, which surrounds them.

Volunteer Opportunity

The Children's Museum of Alamance County is currently accepting new volunteers. We have three volunteer opportunities that are ongoing throughout the year. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Ideal candidates will enjoy children and have a passion for museums, education, youth, art, and/or science. To volunteer, complete the Volunteer Application Form. You may mail it or bring it by the museum during normal business hours. Applicants that are under 18 years of age are required to submit a letter of recommendation from someone that is not a family member. Applicants that are over 18 must submit to a background check.
